A carpet water damage can be terrible, especially if it occurs following floods. Some of the people that have faced a similar problem in the past took the easiest way out – buying a new carpet. This kind of flooding can pose some threats to human health but not in the same way the black type would. This is the kind of  flood water that has remained untreated for a very long period. Since it contains raw sewer, or any other severely harmful dirt, this kind of water is very unsanitary.

If it contaminates a floor and its carpet, humans should no longer make use of them. They are better off discarded to avoid causing terrible diseases. In some cases, even the flooring material that has come into contact with this kind of water can be removed and thrown away.
